Because a friend of mine was asking for it. Apparently his greatest fear would be 3 floating nuns. When prodded, it was uncovered that if the nuns were babies it would be even creepier.

  2. You sonofabitch!

  3. I’m currently doing a project in school about visual publications, my major, would you consider this to be graphic design or visual publications i still have to find the real difference between the two i was hopeing visual publications has more to do with the artsy side of design. I love your illustrations theyre amazing! did you do it all by hand or did you use photo shop to change them up a little?

  4. At my school, Visual Publications was more about learning the various design software than it was about the fundamentals of design. They covered that as well, but the focus was always leaning more towards learning how to use the software. Which was amusing, as the biggest stumbling block for graduates of the Graphic Design program here that I’ve always heard has been that graduates don’t know enough of the software (Flash being a big one).

Again, that was my experience at my school.

As for the illustrations you see here, the majority of them started as sketches with pen and paper. I then scanned them to edit on my computer using Photoshop. I also use a Wacom tablet (a really old / inexpensive one, but it gets the job done), so that helps quite a bit.
